RB28 and RB30 are similar with power, torque. Nissan RB30 with forged internals should be alot cheaper with adaptor plate for 4wd sump, etc.

    RB30 vs RB26 bottomend with same turbo's, etc in a R32 GTR -

If going for high hp, top of the line HKS 2.8 stroker kit with spacer plate, sleeves for cylinders. Kakimoto is another that makes a similar kit.

HKS Stge 3, OS Giken 3.2l

but IMHO, stroker kits are cost prohibitive with poor dollar to hp ratio. the only reason i see to have a stroker is to increase torque, but then why have a RB at all a 2JZ is much more for much less. This is coming for a guy who had cash in have for a OS Giken 3.0 kit and decided against it.
      Trust T618Z,Carrillo Rods,CP Pistons,Tomei 280 10.8 lift ProCams, Tomei Spec C Springs, N1 Block, ARP, ATI, ATL, Bosch 044,Sard 800cc,PFC,Z32 etc.......

As what I've heard among stroked GT-R owners TOMEI (not Tomie ) is one of the best, together w/ HKS.

Tomei is one of the best in my books. In Japan most stroker kits are Tomei or HKS. Can't go wrong with either of those considering the volume of them they've sold.

Amen brother, everything else is a complete waste of money. RIPS is an absolute testament to how you can have all the power and torque of the most expensive stroker kit ever made at a third of the cost.

All the other stuff is for the "look how much money I have" crowd.

Is the the RB34 the diesel I have heard about?
