Vac line busted!

So i was working on my car and accidentally broke this vac line, i'm guessing is a charcoal canister. do i need to fix this, or can i just block them both off?

Block both, vent fuel tank line somewhere else, advisably not near heat. Then you can remove the canister if you don't care about emissions and the smell of gas

will it pass aircare f it is removed?

or get one off any nissans in ealry 90's from a wrecker...most uses the same one

Ya maxima's are the same. Don't know about the aircare since I don't have to deal with that.
