If it tries to start but won't, it could be as simple as the plugs. My car wouldn't start when it landed, because someone fouled the plugs along the way.

I have a similar non-start issue where the engine turns over, it almost sounds the engine is going to catch, but nothing happens. My spark plugs are almost brand new with 7k on them, could they still be fouled? I started my car up fine a couple of weeks ago, but the temps fell to -40 for a week, and came back up to -5ish. Now the car won't start. Could it be the block is just super cold?
