  • Coilovers suggestion that can make BNR32 really low?

Can I get some suggestions on coilovers for BNR32 GTR? I am trying to get coilovers that can make the car very low. PICS would be appreciated.

    Thanks

here is a reference of how low

Any coilover can do that, those cars look like its mostly the rims TBH

I currently have d2 coilovers and there is still a large gap. I'm currently on the lowest setting the coilovers can go. My friend has bcracing and has the same problem.

Those wheels are weds tc105n 18x10.5 +12. I had those wheels before.

C-unit: have you had any personal experience with pbm? How do you rate them?

hey guys, the new pbm are apparently awesome, alot of my friends told me that the new ones are nothing to be affraid of. (1500$)

but the lower model ones ( not competition, 1000$) have alot of up n down from depending who you talk too, but they for sure are good for low. im planning on getting HSD myself, and i know the owner of the car of the pic you posted at the top, he is runing cusco's. and i plan to go just as low as him. which does prove to be difficult unless you know what to look for.

but just look at cars on google, something you like (the stance of some particular gtr's) and read what they got, obviously not always posted, but for sure takes research.

hope it works out, id love to see what you'll be creating. best of luck

PBM doesnt make ones for BNR32s tho just HCR32s.
Traction is optional, so are zipties

Bigger diameter wheels (20 inch +) are one way to fill the arches and don't need to lower car by much.

As long as shock body screws into lower shock mount like BC coilovers do to retain shock travel, can go very low -

BC Racing Coilovers are highly customizable to allow all end-users to purchase the perfect setup for their specific needs.

But if too low, then screw up vertical roll centre which requires adjustable arms with rollcentre adjusters (Ikeya in Japan make those).

They dont have it for GTR but they sell the z32 rear lowermount so it'll fit GTR.

I don't have first hand experience though but I am considering a set for my drift car. The thing that sells me are independent spring perge and pillow ball mounts. So the spring doesnt bend when the shock pivot.

If you don't mind riding ghetto, you can always droop your springs.

I spoke with a PBM rep and he claims their new competition coilovers have the ability to go lower than any coilover on the market for BNR32/Z32. He said the coilovers will be available sometime April. The price will be $1000 for a set of their competition line.
