OEM Blow off valves vs aftermarket

Just wondering if we disregard the recirculation pippings from the system, does the stock gtr bov work like any other aftermarket atmospheric bov?

I'm asking this because I got a hard pipping kit that doesn't have the recirc port in the rear intake pipping

I have two choices, either weld a port for the recirc system or just go atmospheric, but i don't want to be wasting money on aftermarket ones since the OEM does the job fairly well up to ~600hp

if I change to atmospheric, i will definately get it tuned for it since I have a MAF setup but im sure the PowerFC can handle it

You can run your oem atmospheric ... But like you mentioned without the tune you may have stalling. I didn't have a problem when I put on the hks ones

compared to running rich of atmospheric venting, would recirculation cause lean mixture since it bypasses the MAF sensors directly into the compressor? So essentially the MAFS wont pick up any air flow when the OEM system is venting
