Rb26dett GTR Wont start

car has been stored for 2 years now, me and a budy were working on it (bodywise + complet cage) we got the intake manifold and valve cover color matched as well.. now time as come to put everything back together, but car wont run..

Car as no fire and fuel pump wont start when turning the key to the ''ON'' position, but pump runs when hotwiring it directly to the battery

obviously i'll have to troubleshoot it, but first i had few questions to help out

-how to test the ignitor chip?

-big arrow on ignitor chip should be pointing towards the harness going to the coils or towards the harness going to the ecu?

-could it be a cam sensor or crank sensor ? ( i have power to the ecu @ cam and crank sensor)

-what else could it be, before tearing the car apart everything was working fine... ?!?!

-how to verify that the ecu gets power? because chek engin LED wont light up ?!

if someone lives near châteauguay (mtl south-shore) it would be greatly appreciated if i could barrow a ignitor chip and/or ecu for troublershooting

can't tell diagnotisc light in the ecu wont light up when putted in diagnose mode.. i think we accidently fried the ECU when we welded the cage .. there was no battery in the car, but ecu was hooked up :/

Doing any mig type welding on a car requires an isolator to protect the ECU. You possibly have also fried some fuses, have you looked at that?
