  • R32 Rwd also R33?

i am going to be getting a gtr next spring for sure and have been reading around other posts a lot about both r32 and r33 models. i have specifically been looking into the possibility of installing a "switch" that enables to just have rwd not awd? done a lot of overarching some say yes other say no its to dangerous. So i am wondering if this is only restricted to r32 models or if r33 can also have this "switch" installed, and if it is going to royally mess something up.
    thanks in advance

Yea r33 you have to pull front prop and r32 you can just place a switch before your awd fuse.

Or just grab an Attesa controller, can't see this as something to really change your mind between the two.

It can change it from 50:50 to 0:100.

I thought some torque splitters could control different ratios. Not just 50/50, 0/100...? Am I wrong?

Sorry, should have been more clear. Can split just about any ratio up to 0:100 and down to 50:50 and anything inbetween. Just wanted to show that it can go full RWD as well so the fuse or front shaft removal really isn't necessary. A switch also isn't really needed either if you can pick one of these bad boys up, why have a switch to control 0:100 when you can have a controller to split at any ratio.

not to hijack but I have a question, would the torque splitter cause any long term damage to the vehicle? and would I need to worry about the aforementioned question when applying this to an r32 gtr?
