  • Brake fluid leak after doing pads and rotors

Changed rotors and pads on the r32 last week and noticed a small puddle of brake fluid under my car today. Think I traced it right back to the brake booster? The thing with the lines marked r r fr fl? Is this normal or did I do something wrong? Can I get new seals for it?

If the master is leaking, u gotta replace. Rebuild kits are worth more than the master.
One from a 91 pathfinder will work.

That's the one on the right side of the engine bay ( looking towards the back of the car)?

Also if the resivoir is too full before u push the pistons out in the caliper, fluid will overflow

I'm not talking about the brake master cylinder with the reservoir on it. I'm talking about the thing on the other side of the bay. Its direct opposite.

see where its leaking from. If its from a hardline pipe fitting try tightening it and see if that stops it. If its leaking from the body of the abs unit or the seams to the accumulator, then your going to have to get a new unit.

Doesn't look like its from a line. Looks like its from a seam of the unit. How much for the unit?
