Limp mode. no codes.

The car is mis firing and in limp mode, not revving past 2500. Checked the plugs this morning and they're fouled, ordered new ones getting them tomorrow. Also checked the ecu and it's not throwing me any codes.
The car had no problem starting, and no problem staying running.
While i had the plugs out i check compression and its #1 165, 2 - 170, 3 - 170, 4 - 165, 5 - 170, 6 - 170, so thats all good.
Checked all my piping and tightened everything up.
It's also running super rich, but that could be the mis fire/bad plugs.
Last thing i have to check would be the timing but i'm going to wait till i get the plugs tomorrow.
Just looking for some input on what I am forgeting to check.
Also if bad timing could cause limp mode.

Would a messed up tps adjustment throw me into limp mode and not set a DTC?

I had this problem with my GTR, turns out both the AFMs were stuffed. I didnt check for fault codes that time, so i dont know if the AFms will throw a code

The car is mis firing and in limp mode, not revving past 2500.

ECU revlimiting engine to 2500rpm with fuel cut revlimiter. That means ECU can't see MAF / MAF's (faulty wiring or wiring could have been pulled out of MAF or engine ECU plugs) or one of MAF's is faulty or unplugged. Pull both MAF's, put on bench, test via MAF plug with multi meter while blowing on hotwire inside round part of MAF. You'll soon know which MAF is not working.
