  • OEM R34 Oil Pump in 1991 R32 GTR?

I read through what I could but couldnt find an answer. to this question:

For a stock 1991 GTR Rb26, would an R34 pump fit? I need a new oil pump, but I wont have the money to address the oil pump drive issue until I pull the bottom end this winter. I just want to replace the pump so I can enjoy the summer but for the life of me I can only find an R34 OEM pump. Which is great, but will it fit in my R32 RB26? (1991). Can my stock R32 Crank still drive an R34 pump?

    Thanks!

Well obviously, but because the crank was changed between R32 to R34 I was wondering if the Oil Pump was also changed accordingly.

When its specifically an 'R34 Oil Pump', it usually says its 'R34' for a reason

I can't say for 100% certain but 99% they are the same. All the oil pumps are the same. Look at aftermarket options they are all rb26 specific not model specific. Many times companies will add r34 to generic rb26 products for the fan boys. The same applies to "n1" look at nismoparts and their r34 n1 crank. Their is no difference between a r33 crank and a "n1" crank. It's all marketing
