Fuel leak on rubber hose before fuel filter

There is a fuel leak on the rubber hose that goes to my fuel filter

its on the hose on the opposite end of the filter

I am gonna replace the hose, but i was wondering if i should replace the filter too ?

would too much **** backed up in the filter cause fuel to leak before it ?

what kind of fuel filter do i need, also what kind of fuel hose?

also, would a fuel leak make the car hard to start ?

On my R32 i used a infinity J30 fuel filter=fits perfect!

i had the same issue on mine, over time im sure the hoses will get brittle. dont quote me but i believe the hose size i bought was 5/16 but double check for sure. and yes the filter i used was a mid 90's infiniti j30. make sure u buy the hose that is rated for F/I which should be avail at the same place u buy ur filter.

Is there any tips / tricks / guides for doing this type of repair ?

also how tight should the hoseclamps be ?

replace them all! under fuel filter, top of filter to rail, return hose from rail to metal tube by under the filter....snug tight coz the 5/16 hoses fit just right...

yup infiniti j30 fuel filter get it too

one advice...mite as well do the two short hoses on and by the fuel pressure regulator

and two hoses under the car above the fuel tank...

those are next to leak

these hoses are brittle to shiiii......slice them off haha
