  • Greddy informeter install

Got mine the other day, and was thinking about hard wiring it to the harness so I can still use my consult port. Has anyone here done it? Just looking for an accurate consult pinout or pic of it hooked up.

    Got it up and running!!

I bought it used and it only came with the OBDII connector. I repinned the connectors and hard wired it to my consult port.

Now it reads real time info from the ECU.

    Now, no more gauges!

That'll be down the road a bit. Was going to do oil, boost, and connect my emanage to it. The adapter for external sensors is pricey though, about $200 last I saw.

It was easy enough to repin and splice, besides I didn't want to wait for shipping, lol.

I'm sorry to bring this one back from the dead, I just couldn't find anything more relevant that was newer. Voodoo, do you happen to remember which wires you spliced for the Informeter into your consult port? I'm planning on doing the same with mine, but haven't had a chance to sort it out just yet.

Was it as simple as using known pinouts for an OBD-II port and the consult port and just splicing them?
