  • Actuator ID

Are these stardard R32 actuators? They look a lot newer than 20 years old to me. Robin at Almasi was confident that I've got R34 turbos based on how long it take for them to spool down after shut down and power curve.
I'd really like to get a solid confirmation.

I Google searced the number and there were a couple references to that number being on R34 actuators but I wonder if they are all the same.

    Thanks!

They look stock, but so do the hks ones I have, are the rods adjustable? I think the oem ones are just solid rods worth no adjustment

I'll have a look at my turbo's for you when I get down from the cabin today. The R34 turbo's have a long spool down time on my car, like ten seconds for sure. Give me a hour or so to get to the garage, and you'll have your answer.

The rods aren't adjustable and I didn't think they were HKS actuators. I was wondering if they numbers maybe indicated that they were R34 or if they were all the same through out production years.

Sounds good. It does take a good 10 seconds for them to stop spinning. I should take a picture of the front of the compressor housing. I'm not sure if that would help indicate which turbos they are or not. I'm pretty sure they appear the same on all three generations.

Thats not quite what I was expecting. It's the same and different so still somewhat inconclusive.
I'll try to check the numbers on my compressor if I can still see them. Car is back together now.
              Thanks for taking the time.
... and there's nothing wrong with Hondas. It just some of the people who drive them

ha ha ha ha ha ha to funny, it is true, honda's aren't bad... LOL. If you need some more pics let me know.

@ CobrAA - Both actuators are exactly the same in mounting, so if you have two different ones, then something is up.
