Do u have any personal experience with them?
Are they compatible with stock timing gears?

They are similar to reground stock cams (grinding meat off base circle to increase duration of cams), but are using new blanks, so can get higher lift without welding onto cam, regrinding which is the unreliable way of doing it.

Can use stock valve springs, lifters, etc (if in good condition and haven't done high km). But with new cams it's suggested to start with new valve springs, lifters if want them to be 100% reliable.

More power at same boost level (increases hp of engine). But dynograph does have crossbow look at lower rpm's. From my experience it's hardly noticeable, as car just pulls from lower rpm.

On RB20DET you can get +24rwhp at same boost level. But with RB26DETT you should get more hp at same boost level.

Here is what Tomei says about their cams:

Type A - Best suited for factory to N1 turbos, or other smaller aftermarket turbos.
Designed to best suit the stock & N1 turbos for optimum performance balance of low to mid range torque. The Exhaust cams duration was reduced to maintain best idling.

Type B - Best suited for mid to larger sized turbos.
By extending the duration timing compared to the Type A Poncams, both response and peak power was raised and these camshafts best compliment the mid to large size turbo charged applications.

Do they need adjustable gears ( rb 26)?

They don't require adjustable cam gears, but many people do use then to dial in their tune.

No need to modify anything, but, when you have the cams in your hands, i think skym is right, swapped the springs, retainer at least. theres a kit on raw brokerage that worth the look!
