How to Properly Tighten Studs on Tensioner?

Good day guys! Just completing all the needed stuff for my cam belt service maintenance. I then take a look at a couple of studs for the tensioner... How do you properly tighten / torque them? Do you also use some kind of oil, loctite? For the removal, I guess it's just the "double nut" process?

But can use a stud removal tool kit, ezy out kit (if stud snaps and it probably will due to heaps of hot and cold cycles).

Also you'll need cam, crank seals, as they tend to leak when engine has done over 100,000km.

For ARP head studs there is a grease you use and has torque settings for that -

I use a hex cap nut and put a little ball bearing in it so it bottoms out.

Yes also replaced the crank seals during the last engine build last year. But noob me I didn't swap them belts at the same time. The mechanic actually asked for it but was a bit late since I still need to order them from my boys at Japan.

3/4" or 1" drive torque wrench should do the trick. Most equipment rental places have one of either for rent, just make sure they aren't JET torque wrenches.

Also, most parts stores also carry specialty tools for rent, and I hear Partsource will lend 'em to you for free, can't comment on quality of their tools though.
