Bobbo does your fc edit software have the anti lag function? Or do you have the new one.

I found a older version that allows a anti lag to be setup. I haven't tried to hook it up yet.

Yes the ability to wire the wideband to the Datalogit will be great. I was thinking about getting an AEM V2 before which has inputs for stuff like that but it was to expensive for what I really needed.

I used to live in Oromocto in the military PMQ's, I live in French Lake now its only 10 minutes away.

I can't honestly remember if I've got the anti-lag function or not. Wouldn't use it anyway. Far too hard on the equipment and all the track use the car gets is on a road course so it just wouldn't get used.

R33 what wide band did you pick up? The dataloggit has preset inputs for the innovative. I think I might sell my aem for one

Just another question about the power fc, on mine for my power fc i noticed that any rattling or ticking noises that were from either loose parts etc can also cause false knock readings. On my rb25 the back plate behind the cam gears was making a knocking ish noise are certain rpms against the cam covers, the knock count would reach like 30's just going through the rev range without any load and while cruising and very little load and no real knocking noticed i could get north of 100 counts., after i did my timing belt change and re adjusted it to not touch any more i kept the counts way down if any

you guys ever get anything like this? and i guess my real question is do you guys rely solely on your power fc knock counter or do you have any other moniters?

I'll occasionally get a knock indication after a hard run and let off presumably slight backfiring.
Experience will likely be your best indicator.
If your squeezing into it with high load and the light starts flashing get out of it. If you get indications of knock under deceleration or cruise it's likely false knock.
Keep in mind the light also flashes at different frequencies for high MAF values and high injector duty cycle.

The new way to detect knock is via sparkplugs, ignition system. There is a DIY device out on the market for this (pulls ignition timing at higher rpm if knock is detected via ignition system, as older stock ECU looks for knock at lower rpm via old knock sensor method). Had the link somewhere. I think now most OEM, aftermarket ECU manufacturers are starting to use this technology.

Patent is mentioned in link below, if you want to have read -

I will finally be returning home after being away for work the last few months and want to get the car back on the road. The ECU still needs a tune and I was wondering if it was possible to download a base tune?

The car has the following mods:
                        -Bigger downpipe
                        -Decat
                        -Catback
                        -Apexi power intake
                        -Power FC/Datalogit
                        -Innovate Wideband
                        -IC hard piping
                        -Twin turbo pipe mod done

Now seeing as these are very basic mods does anyone have or know of a tune I could download for this application or are there to many variables between different vehicles?
