A good turnosmart 60mm should be all you need
I see both single and dual on a range of different set ups.
    I've seen a single 60 on a 1000hp set up and dual's on a 500hp set up

Sometimes you can have boost creep issues with a single gate running low boost. That's all I got

Depends massively on your manifold and how the wastegate runners are plumbed. What manifold do you have?

I think dual 44s is spot on. Plus if your manifold is going to be twin scroll, you would want two wastegates to not negate the effect no matter how small it is.
