  • 95 R33 GTR - 2WD mode..

I know there are a few modules out there that allow you to switch to 2wd or adjust the split from rear to front drive on a R32.....

what options are there for a R33,,

I don't think there are many, from what I've heard you burn the clutch packs out of the transfer case if it actually drives in 2wd. You could try pulling the propshaft if it's something you really want.

How it will burn the clutch in rwd mode if the clutch engage to go in awd ... Its an awd clutch so no problem to go in rwd. The probblem its when you put it 100% with a torque splitter in awd mode

R33, R34 GTR have preload to front wheels (why you have to remove front driveshaft). R32 doesn't.

From what I understand, it's in the programming on 4wd ECU. Not sure if a R32 GTR 4wd ECU would work, but can swap engine ECU from R33 GTR to R32 GTR (with o2sensors to suit) and vice versa, so maybe R32 GTR 4wd ECU can be used on R33 GTR???.

Did this by accident once but if you're driving and the car shuts off and you turn it back on while moving, you should be in 2WD mode. Not a permanent solution but it does the trick! Aside from that I'd say ATTESA Controller but i dont know the long term effects.

That is the same as pulling the fuse. BUT, if you start hangin the arse out drifting all over the place and/or doing burnouts you will wear the transfer case clutches out. There is a preload on them of about 50kg to make engaugement quicker. You will be rubbing them together like you are trying to start a campfire. R32s have no preload at all and barely touch when the fuse is pulled.
