  • Vibration in Steering

My GTR has been in storage for about 2 years. Back in the country & decided to take her out for a spin.
I'm getting this vibration/shaking in the steering wheel that wasnt there before. As a matter of fact I had
an alignment & before I stored the car.

    Any ideas?

How did you store it? Up on blocks? Cause sounds like your wheels are out of balance/ may have flat spots in your tires

Yep, sounds like flat spots. Took a really long time for my wheels to get rid of them try deflating and re inflating. I heard doing by outs get rid of them too haha

unfortunately not on blocks as I was away longer than expected. I'll rotate the wheels & see i that helps. Failing that check the balances.

Yeah unfortunately if the tires have been sitting in one spot for too long the belts can warp from the weight and ruin the tire. Not saying that this is the case for you but it usually gets better over time. Try finding a place with a road force balancer, that will tell you if you got a problem with tires
