I just picked up a good used twin plate but the original owner says he just used his stock or thinks it stock release bearing. I searched and found all kinds of posts about different sleeves to use but no real answer to which one.

DONT USE STOCK! I had this exact clutch and used the stock throwout bearing and it ate the clutch up. I searched and posted on here but your best bet is to call osg directly (they are in california) and have them send you one out or give you a part #1991 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R: 710whp 521 ft/lbs 27.5psi 11.8 @126mph low boost

I got a hold of some from Os Giken usa, he said use the stock release bearing with a 12mm sleeve. This is what he told me "You need an OEM bearing, and a 12mm sleeve. The Nissan part number for the sleeve should be 30501-A3804 (which was provided by Nissan Japan in March 2012). Nissan always changes their part number, so there could be a replacement part number, but as long as its 12mm you will be fine."

Just an update for those who search on here or google pops this post up. So for anyone using the os giken twin plate and you need to know what bearing sleeve to use, go with what os giken says and use a 12mm sleeve(for my clutch) with a oem release bearing.
I used the 16mm(this being only 4mm taller), sitting at a light with the pedal pushed in, you have to hold it hard because it want to push back and is really hard on the clutch pedal bracket.
I think it's because that extra 4mm pushing on the pressure plate fingers pushing them a little to far in. I've tried adjusting the pedal free play with no change. I finally got the proper 12mm sleeve, installed it yesterday and it's 100 times better. The clutch is stiffer than stock(of coarse) but at a light with the pedal to the floor it doesn't feel like my clutch pedal is going to break off.
So you can go with a 16, 14m sleeve but just to let you guys know the 12mm feels much better and just that extra 4mm(in my case) pushing the fingers farther probably isan't really good for them. I've had this massive tranny out 4 times now and hoping that this will last a while.
