Autometer temp guage/controler, can set what temp u want the fan to come on, or can wire it up to be on all the time

No, it's a 52mm gauge, I have it in a pillar pod, I bought it at mopac, only thing is it's f not Celsius, but still works, I can get the number for u when in home, I think it might come in Celsius but I didn't want to wait

i got one of those flexalite temp controllers. turn the fans on when reaches certain temp i set it to 200F. wire it up through a relay though or youll kill the battery, after a long drive and you turn it off the engine bay will heat soak and if the controller is wired straight to battery with no ignition relay your fans will just go for like 15 mins every time you turn car off. then youll have a dead battery in a week or so

200f? Seems warm, I'm not even too sure what it's supposed to be set at, thought norm was 185, I set mine just a little below, 180. But on hot days ,30+ , seems like with the ac on full the temp creeps up, not much but as soon as I turn ac off it goes down. It's never even seen 200 I don't think

I was looking for the flex a lite one but in other forum the guys who use it say thats its not very accurate because he habe a probe sensor prior to the one that you have to screw

U have to be careful where in the rad u place the probe, but they should be fine, a lot of fan setups have the probe built right in,

i actually put the probe inside my upper rad hose and its super accurate. just put a little gasket maker where the prope wire is at the clamp to seal it
