  • Compressor housing leak

I did a boost leak test yesterday, and found that my rear turbo has started to leak out of the compressor housing, where 1 of the 3 plates gets bolted up ( Rs-580 turbos ). I could torque one of the bolt retaining the plate but not the other one has it sits really under the exhaust manifold. Wow i think im gonna have to take the turbo out DAMN! Anyone ever had this leak?

No access from underneath? Try getting someone else's hands in there, sometimes you just need someone else's flexibility. It would be a shame to have to remove it all

I just checked and maybe if i take out the downpipes i will be able to get the bolt. Damn, the front is also leaking. What the hell. And its making a shitload of bubble, way more than the rear one.
