I am working on this R32 GTR. My buddy picked it up without a motor or trans and it used to be a gutted drag car. Luckily I have a friend who is doing a R32 GTR drift car so we made some deals which landed me the parts I need.
Anyhow I have a RB26DETT engine harness "loom" and PFC for a 26. I will be using a RB23 stroker motor and RB25 trans. In prep I am looking over the harness because I plan to use the RB26 loom with the connectors I need from the RB20 loom. However I am not familiar with 26 much and there are a few things that have me confused. I am also a R33 owner so the 32 is new to me too.
Anyhow here are some photos this is the left passanger side and I need to know what these are for.
Location photo
On the body harness, these two connectors
Further up that same loom at the end of it these two are cut off,
1 - black white dor and striped green
2 - 3 wire black, green with dot and blue red stripe
Want to confirm these are for ABS?
o2 sensor and what else?
Right side, body harness
There are two connections between the alternator connections and starter connections, one is factory taped to the loom the other is just sitting free. I dont know what these are for.
Fuse box loom connections
On the side of the fuse box there are three connectors that I dont see where they go to. There are actually 4 but one was for the ABS sensor.
3 pin
8 pin - 7 used
Third is a 2 wire laid out like a T
RB26 R32 harness
Right where the CAS, 1 wire coolant temp sensor, 2 wire coolant temp sensor and grounds are there is a second 2 wire connector that looks like the 2 wire coolant temp, what is this?
On the fuel injector harness section there are two extra connection located next to injector 5 and 6 connectors. What are these for?
And then right to the back of the fuel inector section behind 6 are these two conectors and I dont know what they are for. I don't have the injector resistor pack so I am thinking those maybe
Randoms
I found this sensor in a box.... dont know where it mounts or what it's for?
View from the trunk not sure if this is the Hicas or 4wd computer but it has this hanging down... Any idea why? And what box is this?
And this is the box on the passenger side trunk, what is this?
