  • R32 gtr idle stall issue

My gtr stalls when coming up to a stop unless I blip the gas, kinda have to heal and toe everywhere. Also when it warms up this gets better and doesn't stall as much.

Running any kinda powered extras like headlights, wipers, fan causes even more stalling. Like there's no idle up at all when turning on accessories.

Car has a apexi pfc. Can i somehow change the idle up and things through that? Or is this purely vacuum leaks or something?

    Thanks

Have you checked your AAC valve? It may need a cleaning. It's what compensates for load from A/C, power steering ect.
You can't adjust idle speed with a PFC only idle cut off.
What RPM is your car idling at?

I'm idling at 900rpm. Just found this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/for...ng-idle-reset/ I'll clean the AAC and hopefully that'll fix some of the issues. Also sounds like I need to clean the cold start valve because I have to hold my foot on the gas to keep it from stalling until it warms up. These are both at the back of the intake plenum?

TPS not on idle contact which tells ECU to kick rpm up or AACV is dirty.

fun, do most of you use a feeler gage and multimeter for setting tps?

I also took propane to the intake plenum and there was what seemed to be a small spot where air is getting in. I think some of the original gaskets were re used.

Is there a brand of gasket recommended that is reusable? Both for intake and exhaust? thanks

I think Tomei has metal ones but for the price it's cheaper to just get new ones for the intake. The exhaust are metal anyway.
You can easily check your TPS value on your PFC hand held on the sensor check display or same display on your laptop.

Can see the idle contact button light up in tuning software (or with Nissan's Consult, stock ECU) when on idle contact. Should be similar with PowerFC, as it was said to be based off a stock ECU.

Blown intake gaskets is common on boosted up RB engines, the fix for RB26 is the Tomei gasket kit as mentioned above -

Or Cometic might have some intake gaskets (they do for GTS RB engine intake manifold).

Cool, I think I'll be going all metal like tomei because the car was built for 2bar supposedly

where do most get their parts? ebay.uk? Adam at feast?

under etc --> sensors my pfc says throttle is 0.37v when I have no foot on the gas. Is this what I should have?
