  • Tomei fuel pump + stock fpr

When you install the tomei fuel pump or wathever aftermarket you got did the stock fpr is good??? Because about 40% more flow than stock is more pressure so did the fpr will up the pressure to the injector too??
    Thanks

Thanks for your reply but maybe i gave bad information my bad my main concern is if you swap the stock fuel pump to aftermarket did the fpr up the pressure because of the flow is greater of the pump??? Because i hear that with just changing the pump can lead up to 10psi more in the fuel rail so it run richer ... Sorry for my english

I am noob but I recommend you to either verify fuel pressure with a gauge or get a adjustable fpr which you also need to verify fuel pressure with a gauge. Just don't do guess-work. However I recall reading the manual Nissan ECCS is capable of accommodate wide adjustment by itself so I wouldnt worry too much.

Yep thank you i will get a look tomorow its because 2 years ago i test the fuel pressure and if i remember correctly i have 10psi more than stock but my ecu its tuned so its hard to see anyway i will test the system tomorow and see whats happen

The small orifice inside stock FPR + higher lph fuel pump make the fuel pressure rise and combined with injectors opening more, injects more fuel into engine at mid to high rpm (when engine is under boost).

Can fit adjustable FPR and turn fuel pressure down to stock fuel pressure (no lower).

Higher fuel pressure can be run (adjust adjustable FPR) if running out of injector cc (band aid fix) due to running a higher boost level. Proper way is to upgrade injectors.

Ok so i test the system todays and i got the tomei fuel pump when the car is on i have ~40-42 and samething when engine running ... Remove the vacuum and got about ~50 so i install my nismo fpr and drop it to ~42 when running with vacuum remove so i got a question here when i put the nismo fpr and put the car on every pressure that i give it slowly down to 33psi WHEN THE CAR IS ON BUT NOT RUNNING i use to have a tomei one and he does the samething i was thinking at that time that maybe the tomei on leak because i have no leak no where triple chek everything ... So why when i put the stock fpr i got the right pressure and it never falls it stay at 40psi???
              Thanks

Check for fuel leaks, blocked fuel filter (some cheap fuel filters can collapse internally, so use stock fuel filter or known good aftermarket fuel filter).

Its normal. The pump stops running full tilt and the pressure drops to 30s on my nismo FPR too. Some FPRs, like AEMs IIRC, even keep going down until you engage the starter.

From what I understand, it's stronger internally.
