  • 92 GT-R Misfiring amd stumbling when cold

So I have a 92 gtr, fairly stock with just a mines tuned ecu, intakes, exhaust and yellow jacket coils mod wise.

Whenever I start the car and its 10 degrees or less and the car has been sitting for multiple hours it misfires and bucks and kicks and goes on once I start to drive it. the worst was yesterday morning and the temp was hovering around 0 degrees. Now, when you drive it for about 10 - 15 minutes it gets better.

Bought the car in the summer when it wasn't this cold and it didn't do that, but once the temp started to drop it began this.

The plugs are the appropriate ngk ones, I can get the part number if necessary, and the coils were all checked when the new plugs were installed.

Any help or thoughts where to check first would be greatly appreciated. Or something common with these motors that has possibly caused this to someone before.

    Thanks again !

You can get different resistances when temperature changes. Since you seem to have looked over your ignition system I would see if your iacv is at a wrong position when cold or possibly your injectors. Another key sensor to check is your ect.

Check coolant temp sensor for ECU.

The tune is just a mines tuned ecu, getting it nistuned in the spring though.
