Fuel grade used

I guys what your experience with the different petrol company and grade you use in your skyline?? Did some make your car miss ??

I'll pretty much always just get 91 at Shell or 94 at Petro if there's one closer. My car is stock as of now however. Did a trip last summer, and had no issues getting highest grade available out east in Canada and down the US east coast.

It's mentioned on a sticker that's located on the inside of petrol flap (in Japanese), unless that sticker has been removed by owner in Japan. RB engines are tuned to run on 100 octane fuel in Japan.

94 octane gas (knock rating) is as close as you are going to get (I think is the equivalent to 98 octane gas).

Stock ECU can adjust to low octane gas (knock maps / low octane maps), but it's best to run on the higher octane gas, as stock ECU can switch to knock maps if it encounters a bad batch of fuel (happens at some service stations).
