R32 Seatbelt does not retract - what to do?

The driver seat belt on my 1992 R32 does not retract anymore and has been pulled all the way out. I've tried a few things to see if I can get it to retract but all attempts have failed.

Is there another simple fix? in the event the return spring is broken, I'm assuming I need to replace the whole thing. Is the replacement part the same as a S13/S14 or 240SX?

How easy is it to replace it on my own? And does anyone have any tips or suggestions to make this easier?

Thanks - I would like to buy but would want to know how difficult or easy the installation process will be. if it's too hard, I may have to consult one of my mechanic shops for help on this. any know or have experience with this?

It's simple. Few trim panels and some bolts.
