Go with Project Mu rotors. Brilliant quality and are available at an excellent price through GTR-Garage.
The PMU pads are better, more consistant and have better bite than both Hawk HP+ and light years beyond EBC pads.

Would you say Project Mu is better than DBA? Looking to change up the rotors and pads on my 33
        97' R33 GT-R Vspec

I'm using these: http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/prod...tor_scrpro.php in R33 dimensions (324x30mm) with BNR32 calipers (for now). I had been using EBC Yellows which were ok for Time Attack and street use but lapping or faster tracks (Circuit Mont Tremblant) the EBCs were garbage. I'm also using StopTeck stainless lines.
Rear rotors up until recently were AMS slotted which were fine but I have PMUs on the way to replace them. The AMS were fine for the rear and are still in good shape after 3 seasons.
My car makes 427RWHP and isn't lightened (3464lbs. with me 200lbs. and 1/2 a tank). I use 255/40/17 Hankook RS3 for steet and track (up until now)and HIGHLY recommend them except for heavier rain conditions. I'm going to the new Dunlop ZII for street and Nitto NT01s for track use.
I'm happy with pedal feel and haven't had any problems with over heating brake fluid. The EBC Yellows are just not up to the job for high speed use. Intial bite isn't what I'm looking for either.
I'll be using this pad for street and Time Attack: http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/pad_hcplus.php
And these for longer, high speed tracks: http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/pad_rc09.php
The next step will be R34 Brembos.
I would recommend this set up. You don't need the same front rotors and would be wise to go with something less expensive in the PMU line up. You wouldn't be sacrificing any performance or reliability either.
I hope some of this helps.

hps doesnt produce much dust. im running hp+ now because i wanted better braking. honestly, I shouldve kept the HPS since I never went to the track yet. initial bite is better with hps.

              Don't go BNR34 Brembos. BCNR33 are a direct fit.

However your stock BNR32 calipers are fine for the track. You can save money by simply going with spacer brackets and fitting larger rotors. I recommend stoptech aero rotors if you go this route. I use MX 72 pads and love them. I've never used hawks but I've heard lots of good things about them.

has anyone used Porterfield R4-S on their GTR? http://www.topbrakes.com/c/car-serie...+Except+V+Spec

I've tried 1 set of hawk HPS and 2 sets of HP+ on my old drift 86 and hated them both. Switched to porterfield because the rally guys swear by them. Absolutely night and day difference. No dust, no squeak, better initial bite and longer lasting and cheaper. win all around but not sure if they would perform the same with a heavier car
