  • Oil sensor reading without removing Intake ; possible ?

I have oil temp and oil pressure sensor to install in my car, I wish to not have to pay labour to have the intake removed. Is there another way to get the reading ? I guess not, but I thought I would take 3 minutes to ask lol

These just the oem sensors? You don't need to remove the mani to get at the pressure sensor,I'm not too sure about temp. Also if you have a oil filter relocation they should have holes to install sensors

Honestly if you're paying to get them installed, just pay for an oil relocate with holes for the temp sensor and pressure sensor. takes 30 seconds to screw it onto the engine then another 5-10 to mount it on the strut tower. Right out in the open makes oil changes easier and makes installing your sensors easier

Taking the I/M off isn't too bad... after you've done it 3 times

Lol, same as turbos I guess , first time I did it took forever, second time I had em off in an hour, worst part about the intake mani is the web of vacume lines underneath, getting the old lines off/on because there so old and hard. I removed everything I could while it was off
