Hicas Light

Hey folks! I have a 93' GTR and I noticed the other day that my HICAS light flickers on and off sometimes while driving and other times its stays on for a while before coming off by itself. What is HICAS and why does the light keep coming on?

A few area's to check:

Check powersteering resouvoir, as being low can make the HICAS light light up when cornering.

Alternator on the way out (low power to HICAS ECU).

HICAS sensor problem. Could be speedo cable / speedo input problem or steering angle sensor behind steering wheel, especially with aftermarket steering wheels with incorrect boss kit (non HICAS boss kit).

Could be a 18x10 wheel with crazy camber in the rear hicas don't like camber. Camber directly affects toe!
