  • Pull or Push clutch??

Hey guys! I am new to the whole skyline thing and need help identifying which clutch type I have. Someone told me you can tell whether it is a push or pull system by looking at the slave cylinder type. I have the pics below if someone can help me out. Its a 1993 R32 GTR.

The torn bushing I'm assuming you're referring to the tension arm. Just buy an adjustable aftermarket replacement for between 150-200 for a set of 2, or nismo set. The bushing is something like 70-80$/side which costs more anyways.

As for your trans 90% sure thats push. Pushes the fork backwards, pushing the throw bearing forwards.

^ Anywhere, just keep in mind tension rod dimensions are GTR-specific; bushing is wider than on 300ZX and R32 GTS.

          That's a "push type" clutch.
You can see how the hydraulic fluid is entering the forward end of the slave cylinder forcing the piston out thus "pushing" on the clutch.
