wont build boost

Hey Guys.

Heres whats going on. BNR32
initial start in the morning the car runs mint. a/f is 13.5.
once it warms up. idle is rough and rpm is 1100-1200.
while driving a/f runs at 10.5, let off throttle it maxes out the gauge, idle is 12.5.
exhaust shoots flames while driving.
car wont build boost past 7 psi, restrictor is removed
has all new vac hoses, new intake gaskets.

any ideas ?

Pig rich if you have flames. Coils/ plugs bad maybe?

Knock / low octane maps on the stock ECU can drop boost level to spring pressure for internal wastegates and run engine rich, pull ignition timing.

But the o2 sensors x2 can make the ECU make the engine run rich for too long and it pops flames from the exhaust. Also can make the idle rpm rise (runs lean) and drop (runs rich). That's when the o2 sensors are stuffed and need replacing (every 40-60,000km you check, replace the o2 sensors if necessary).

If engine is running rich due to knock maps (engine running lean due to blocked fuel filter, stuffed fuel pump, faulty FPR, leaking intake gaskets), that can stuff the o2 sensors. So there might be more than one problem. It's a matter of eliminating each cause.

Also rpm going up and down can be due to leaking intake gaskets (common, even GTS engines do it when the intake gaskets leak), which would also explain the knocks maps being engaged by the stock ECU (protects the engine).
