On the 33 and 34 you have to disconnect the secondary drive shaft.

No picture required! Find front drive shaft, un bolt and remove. Win.
        No build thread.

Think this is just for tuning, I know my r32 i have to put into RWD and take it to the dyno. Noone has an AWD dyno around here (and I'm talking within 8 hours haha.

R34, R33 GTR have preload (little amount of 4wd) to the front wheels, so the front driveshaft from the transfer case has to be removed to run in rwd.

You'll get more hp in rwd.

Some put drag slicks on rear (stock R32 GTR wheels) to get more grip.

Skym...dude. Are you tired or something...lol. You dont need to remove the transfer case, just the front driveshaft. *edit* I must be tired, I thought I read "and the transfer case"...*facepalm*, ignor that. * For tires on the back it was actually one of your own Mags in Aus, High Performance Imports that tested about 4 different tires on a RWD car and found that old tired plane jane street tires would hold 450kw and gave the most accurate and repeatable readings. I have personally seen BFG Radial T/A street tires hold 510whp on a small drum dyno...bigger drums are grippier.

What can happen with drag tires is the excessive flexing from wrapping around the curvature of the drum overheats the tires very quickly and makes them very greasy after repeated hits. At the strip you only make a hit every 30min giving ample time to cool off. This is not to be comfused with the burn out to heat the tires. You only heat and clean the surface...not the entire carcas and the air inside like a bunch of dyno runs will do.
