  • Low and High impedance injectors question

    Hey guys,

Heres my dilemma I got my stock injectors cleaned and flow tested 3 were bad and 3 were good. So I went and bought another set of 6 used and got them flowed and tested and out of those I have another 3 good ones, the only issue is the used set I bought are low impedance and my old ones are high.

Am I able to run a mixed set by wiring in resistors into the three low impedance ones?

The lows are from a 89 and the highs are my 92s.

what!?.... both set come from RB26 ? and both are yellow and top feed ??
No you can run different set impedance low have X.msec lag time and high have X.msec lag time. Your engine is going to run like ****.

Side note all rb26 engine come with low imp injector from the factory

ECU injector driver is high impedance, but the resistor pack makes it so the RB26 can run low impedance injectors.

You can run 2x sets of injectors, some intake plenums allow for this.

I would just buy some new ID (If ID sell them in that cc) or Deatchwerks 444cc injectors.

725cc is the lowest ID sells. Just got mine yesterday and they weren't cheap lol.
