i cant tell if i hate this idea or thing it freaking awesome. either way, your best bet would be to look for something universal like this
thats just the first thing that came up when i googled. im sure you could find cheaper ones. youd have to drill into your roof though. unless you do something like this which desnt look too secure.

the 240sx rack works. I was looking into getting one a while ago, and found one on a UK site. It's part number crossed over with the S14 rack. If its only for boards/skis then the rack is all you need, but if you want to carry bikes you need the rear window extention.

My buddy had a Mitsubishi GTO with a bike rack on it, hauled our bikes to whistler all summer long.
He bought it and pieced it together for a cheap price. 500 ish. When rack shops sell them for 1000+ (rip off!) Good brand too, Thule.
He drove speed limit, and sometimes more with two 40+lb bikes that were on a rack attached by the window sills by the roof. Our bikes held on fine.
I have a friend who works at rack-attack and he has told me customized skyline racks have been made in the past, but that was more expensive, at near 800.
One problem with racks though, they scratch the crap out of your roof and you will need repaint/body work if you don't put a protector on it.
I find bike/ski racks on skylines to be abit weird. While racks on Impreza's are just hot. I did commute my mountain bike to whistler this summer using my skyline a couple times, but not on my roof. I had to disassemble the bike, put garbage bag over my passenger seat, put wheels in garbage bags and put in rear seat, then the frame in. Once I was at Whistler I assembled at parking lot, then had a blast. I took weekend trips to make the drive more worth it.
Good luck with your search.

Yep, but at the end of the day the drive home was WAY better than driving a van with my bike comfortably fit in.Originally posted by love_boost View Postlol i did the same with my norco shore.

Plus, it gave me an excuse NOT to give any riding buddies a ride home. Freedom to eat whenever, etc.
If I keep my car next year, definately doing it again.
