Right Hand Drive Sticker?

So the other day I was pulled over on my way home, and the cop told me I need to get a sticker on my bumper that notifies others that I'm driving a right hand drive vehicle, I live in Cambridge Ontario, but I was told from a friend of mine who owns a right hand drive 300zx said that there is no sticker I need to get so I'm not sure. Do I need this sticker or was the cop pulling my leg, and if I do where would I get it from?

I think I remember reading somewhere in the motor vehicles act that says you only need a right hand drive sticker if you don't have any form of turn signaling device.

Vehicles with right hand drive
63. Every vehicle that is equipped with a right hand drive shall, unless it is equipped with a mechanical or electrical signal device as described in subsection 142 (6), have prominently displayed on the rear thereof, in bold face letters of not less than 50 millimetres in height and of a colour which is in contrast to that of the vehicle, the words,
“RIGHT HAND DRIVE VEHICLE”.

142. Requirements for signalling device
(6) A mechanical or electrical signal device shall clearly indicate the intention to turn, shall be visible and understandable during day-time and night-time from the front and from the rear of the vehicle for a distance of 30 metres, and shall be self-illuminated when used at any time from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise. Next time he pulls you over....hit him with the exact section/subsection number of that excerpt...and tell him to make sure he has his fukkin ducks all lined up in a row before he pulls someone over and wastes their valuable time.

I'd leave out that second part, unless you want to end up losing the next 30 mins of your time while he checks every crack in your car.
