thread jack kinda... how exactly is the ignition cut damaging to various components? I know it sounds harsh and stuff, but im just having a hard time wrapping my head around how it damages the oil pump and stuff. Thanks

on the r32s and earily r33 the oil pump drive was machined to short so if you introduce the oil pump to a abusive state for extended periods of time the short oil pump drive weakens the oil pump, the actual impeller if thats what u wanna call it break into 14-16 pieces and you loose oil pressure..
