FYI Plazmaman makes on for the RB20. And isn't it the same thing as on the RB25? If so Greddy makes a nice one as well.

Both are more than the one you posted, but I think you get what you pay for. I bought the Greddy for my old RB25 and it was a very nice piece. Hope that helps.

The shape of intake plenum is good. Just make sure flange is straight by checking, skimming if necessary.

Gibson GTS-R with RB20DET used stock intake manifold with custom intakepiping -

Front mount intake plenum is not worth it, unless your engine is producing over 500hp.

Just saying it's not worth it unless your building car for a certain application, where intake manifold needs to be changed / modified. Usually over 500hp at engine or applications mentioned below.

Shorter runners on intake manifold should give more mid to topend hp (dragstrip, racetrack).

Longer runners on intake manifold should give more low to mid (street, racetrack).

Opposite on exhaust side where longer runner is mid to top and short runner is low to mid.

You can buy Blitz, etc intercoolers that have intake piping which returns to stock location. They use Blitz intercoolers on GTS-R conversions (RB20DET) on R31, where intake piping returns from intercooler to side where stock SMIC (Side Mount InterCooler) was.

For example with Blitz intercooler that returns to side where SMIC was -

R31 GTS-R (RB20DET) at factory had similar style of return type intercooler.

The racecar (R31 GTS-R) version of intakepiping in post above was to remove the 90degree bend (restriction) when it returns from intercooler to side where SMIC was and stop intakepiping getting heatsoaked by (the reason behind why they wrapped the intakepiping) running intakepiping just behind radiator with R32GTR style of intercooler.
