  • Torque specs rb20

just looking to pull the head on my rb20 and was wondering if anyone had any useful information on the torque specs and and details i should pay attention to before i pull the head???? thanks

I am assuming your just doing the head gasket. The only one to be concerned with is the head bolts. And if your doing the job throw some ARP studs in and torque to their instructions

I agree with Brian. Also be prepared to clean out the camshaft "bracket" bolt holes. Also buy some Automotive assembly lube to put back in the bolts.
Traction is optional, so are zipties

My roomate is selling his BNIB ARP headstuds for rb20/25. Also for the broken off manifold bolts you can go to Canadian Tires and buy reverse drill bits, you just got to drill a pilot hole first. Or take it to the machine shop.
