Question on cutting gts hood lip?

Yeah, the gts hoods suck. So damn heavy.

First time I went to lift my gc8 hood I just about put it through the windshield.. It is as light as plastic.

Haha, I would loooove a gtr hood. My friend has one on his car (we both work in the same shop) and the difference really is night and day. However, I really havnt had any luck finding a silver hood and I really dont want to paint. Mike at 4X does have a hood but its black and he said he isnt willing to part with it or the gtr grille.

There is also the issue involving my turbo. I removed my stock rb20 two weeks ago to replace it with a used rb25 stocker from my friend. In to process I busted some ceramic fins on the 25 Soooooo any money I was going to spend on a hood is now going into a new turbo So the plan is to just cut it and buy a gtr hood when the right one comes across my path
