        whoa whoa. Hold up.
I read your post wrong. U said lower rad hose, im not sure of the overall size, but i think its 38mm at the engine and 34mm at the rad,
Why do you want to install guage sender on the lower hose?
Normally and correctly it is installed on the upper hose which is 34mm for sure.

I have a blue samco upper rad hose for sale if u want extra bling. Pm if interested.

im installing the greddy rad breather tank.. the sensor is supposed to be installed at the lower rad hose.. i just measured my upper rad hose and it is 38mm.. but i need to knoiw what the lower rad hose is because i ordered the 34mm.. if i cut it closer to the rad it should fit?

I still believe the upper is 34mm. I think its inside diameter you should measure.
Here is a link for Samco hoses, which is what i was getting my measurements from(I have Rb20det Kit)
            http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bp...Kit&fromlink=1

As for a Water temp sensor, it should be located on the upper hose. I just sold a HKS upper rad hose temp sensor adapter, they dont make one for the lower hose. I dont think HKS has got it wrong.
As for the a breather tank, I dont know.

yea i measured the inside diameter.. water temp sensors can be used for either top or bottom rad hoses.. http://www.greddy.com/products/elect...e-accessories/ look at the water temp sensor.. click on it and see what it says haha.. i dont think greddy got it wrong :P.. this doesnt make sence

                installs in upper radiator hose
or lower hose for use with GReddy Breather Tank

                Upper hose for Temp sensor.
Lower hose for Breather Tank. Which is what you r doin, correct?

And the HKS Water temp sensor was specifically for R32/S13/S14 upper rad hose. Not universal like greddy above.

We r both on different pages here, I think the 34mm should be good for the lower hose. Originally I thought u were installing temp sensor adapter for a gauge, not a temp sensor adapter to be used for a breather tank. I am tryin to help, not tryin to make u fail.

yup im doing it for the breather tank.. haha so if i cut the lower rad hose closer to the rad it should work with 34mm? I appreciate it man
