Airbags where always an option on gtst I had a 91 gts4 with a drivers airbag. Wasn't untill r33 series 2 that both passenger and drivers airbags were standardComment

I'm gonna be swapping out my OEM wheel for a Momo and was just wondering if I had to disable the system before I do. Most modern cars I work on I have to disable the system before I do any work on the steering wheel/column, and just don't want this thing blowing up in my face.1989 R32 Skyline GTR SOLD!!!!

To be honest most of the skylines I owned had that on its sun visor.
I have searched everywhere but unable to find a single airbag..

i will post a video of my gts-t back in the day with air bag, i just took a look at the video it appears to be the same wheel as in a s2 r33... strangeee

I've seen an R32 with an airbag as well.... one of the lower mainland dealers had it. I have no idea if it was functional or not though (wouldnt put it past this guy to put a non functional one on)-= ECU UPGRADES =- -= LOCKOUT BARS =- -= AERO =- -= SEATS =- -= ACCESSORIES =-

According to one of my HyperRev Magzine. Air bag is an option after Chuki (Aug 1991+) on R32 GTRs. And the Steering wheel is fugly..... On my 90 GTR it does not say anything about the SRS on the sun visors.10 Infiniti FX35

Well, swapped out my steering wheel with no issues. There is no airbag, although the plug is there on the clockspring.
