Find a used set of coilovers
They are springs an struts together that can be adjusted in height up or down and also dampening stiffness.
Do not cut your springs. Dangerous and ride quality is ****
Or you could get springs and keep your stock struts

Give Adam at Feast Auto a call (location Japan). He can source you coilovers or lowering springs. There is a nice set of HKS springs on Japanese Yahoo, you can get Adam to bid for you.

Yes, a set of aftermarket coilovers is the easiest way to do it. Usually from 500-1000 for used, depending on what you get. Depending on how low you want to go, you may have to look into rolling your fenders/removing fender liners.Victory is on the horizon..

a LOT of people dont account for this, but your toe will be off considerably. Running positive toe in the rear or front \ ^ / is not safe. So make sure you get an alignment. IMHO, only do this if you plan to get adjustable components - Upper control arms and front castor arms.. Tire wear and overall drivability is greatly affected, even with a minimal drop.Check out the GTST Projects page and keep up to date with my build!
