r33 headlights

So i failed the out of province inspection, my lights are not DOT approved, did not know that about the r33 until today. anyone know what will fit it? thanks

Nope no skylines had them. A guy local here is running dodge avenger head lights in his r33

R34 I believe are dot but none before hand, wait maybe the late model 33's. But I am confident that the 34's come with dot head lights.

No RHD car has DOT headlights, because they were not made for the North American market, and the light pattern is aimed for driving on the left side of the road.

another suggestion is find a better shop that wont bug you for that stupid bs. unfortunately i cant tell everyone in world mine. no reason to run dodge avenger lights....if you cant find that good shop that doesnt care put them in and take them out.

Same thing goes with drl, side markers forget them they look ugly. Shop should only care about the car being mechanically in good shape, instead of reflectors and lights. Tires should be replaced because they are usually old, cracking and worn from japan.

The only headlights i heard off are the euro r34 that are e stamp.

Thats right right about the aiming.
We focus so much on Dot bs we forget the real safety things.

you can retrofit LHD projector in these you will see better,beam pattern will point right,but retrofitting is also iilegal,so you will have a good,safe lights,but i don't know if it pass inspection

So my R33 will be landing in about a month, and I guess I just need to find some Prelude headlights to put in for the OOP? What generation of Prelude?
