Hey guys, I've been following the forums now for quite some time. 3 years ago I stumbled apon a skyline on Kijiji and I knew I needed to have it. After a little bickering and a hand shake the car became mine. I towed the car home to begin the needed work. The car needed a clutch, brakes and just an all around tune up. With everything finished its time to drive this thing. The car has an rb20det and it is a 5 speed. I had not at the time driving anything with boost so it was quite the experience, first summer in and even though I was getting a little bored of the power the car was making I couldn't wait for season 2.
April came the following year and I warmed the car up for the first long drive of the year. Everything went A-1 UNTIL the drive home. I geared down the give the car a good little run up to speed and bam she fell flat on her face and wouldnt create boost. Limping home to diagnose the problem only to find that my exhaust turbine wheel snapped off which left me turboless!! All this happening gave me the the go ahead to upgrade. I decided to go with a top mount setup with a turbonetics t3/t4 .57 trim turbo. I gathered all my parts IE. turbo, manifold, 38mm external wastegate, gtr injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and a FPR, AEM tru boost gauge and Wideband O2 sensor. I reassembled the car and was ready for a little shake down and test and tune. I car pulled amazing and the gains surpassed my expectations. The season ended with the car working flawless, and was even more excited for the 3rd summer
With that it brings me to present day. I'm sorry for the lengthy read but since I didn't quite introduce my self and I know I enjoy reading all post similar to this I thought, why not. Anyways this brings me to my question. MY CAR NEEDS PAINT and I want some opinions to either keep the car white or change it, I'm looking a for what colors to go with for my car and my rims. Any input would be awesome and if anyone could point me in them direction on how to post a picture of the car that would also be awesome, cheers!!!!!
