Door switch for dome light problem

My driver side switch that light up the dome light when door is open as stop working. I swaped switch from both side and it was working on passanger side. Its probably in the wiring or a connector somewhere. Did anyone have a similar problem or could point me out a wiring diagram. I will be removing the roofliner this week so I would like to take the opportunity to check for possible problem. Car is a r32 and I have an alarm system. Iam guessing the wire for open door sensor might be connected to that switch.

i got the same problem when it rains,
me and Vulcain (Louis-Gil) traced the problem to the wiring going to the switch, so you would have to remove the inner panel to check it

i hate when it happens, the "door open" light stays lit in the dash
but after a day or two, when it dries, its ok again

Mine is mostly always ''closed''. Door open , the dome light don't light up and the cluster light either. Did the wiring pass neer the driver side sidekick panel neer the gaz pedal? My alarm module is there and I did pass a new vacum line for gauge today. Might have disconnected/shorted a wire there.
