parts question...

Hey

got some questions about some parts i found on ebay, and wanted to know what you guys think of them...

one is a rb25 intake... now would this work on a rb20 at all?

my guess is no... but hey you never know...

and the other is this ECU chip... anyone heard of someone doing this?

For intakes as long as they fit properly (which often the cheap ones don't) then it should be ok. Don't expect any power gains from it though. As for the chip, I'd be very wary of them. It's far better to spend a bit more and have it tuned properly on a dyno.

No they are not

That's what I thought.... dam.... most of the parts I have already are interchangeable from the Rb20 to the rb25. To bad the intakes arent.....

Intake manifolds are not compatible between rb20/25. The water lines under the plenum are different. Not sure if you could modify it to work or not.

Well thats a bloody shame. Oh well. Was hoping to get a new intake for the rb20 and be able to swap to the rb25 when i get it. Oh well... lol
