RB25 wont start after tuning session

Posting this for a friend's 240sx that I will be working on this summer.

RB25 fully forged and full head job (Port polish 1mm oversized tomei poncams etc)
AEM S1 ECU MAP sensor.
GT35r
Nismo 720cc (I think)
Full exhaust
Plugs gaped to 0.8

All the works.

He got it tuned at JD racing (Cap-pele NB) and made close to 500 whp

When he get back home he started it and was running rough. He thought it was cold and went for a lil drive. When he went to start it again it never did.

He has fuel and spark and it was recently tuned.

I know the S1 AEM is known for its timing drift. Could this be the cause of this? As in not starting?

JD racing said he has bad grounds and it was hard to tune??

It does not even burp or tries to start...

Any help is appeciated!

He is working out west right now so I will be seeing over this car.

you said you have fuel but did you try if the actual injectors are pulsing?

Well id start by addressing those bad grounds that the shop told you about. Thats just problems waiting to happen.

CAS acting up? Does the motor sound healthy when it cranks or does it sound like its spinning freely? All wires and plugs tight?

AEM ECU is known to be sensitive to bad grounds. Fix those first and hope nothing is damaged. Then check CAS settings (look at AEM forum). The timing drift could make it hard to start and there is a upgraded timing disc available. Also their should be a article on AEM forum showing how to pull CAS apart to change timing disc. When CAS bearing fails it can be out by 1-2 degrees, which is why engine is hard to start. If tuned ECU with CAS problem, who knows how out of tune engine could be.
