  • need advice for clutch master cylinder

    Hi,

    My clutch master cylinder is leaking (got some oil on the clutch pedal), I need a new one, should I buy the nissan oem or after market ?

    I have a twin plate hks clutch in the car.

    There are no aftermarket ones that I know of. Nissan OEM is your best bet, they aren't that expensive either.

            You can use the one from a 240sx with 5/8" fitting input. Only down side is that the hardline inpuit on the skyline one is on the bottom of the clutch master cylinder where as the 240sx is on the side. The hard line is very flexable and you can bend it wil your hand easily without kinking it. All you have to do is make 90 degree bend and your good to go. I got a replacement excedy clutch maaster cyliner for 40 bucks new!! much better than $125 oem one. Super easy to replace as well. Aslo the excedy one has better interanl rubber inside to prevent breakdown from higher dot fluid as well as longevity.
